You guys! Holy of holiness has it been a hot minute since I last blogged!! I am SO sorry! I won’t make excuses, but life has definitely gotten in the way and blogging went on the wayyyy back burner. I am going to make more of an effort to start blogging again and share what is going on in my life and also share more photography related blogs.
If you haven’t already noticed, my blog, website, and logo are all brand spankin’ new! A lot of people have said to me that there was nothing wrong with my old site. This is true. However as a photographer, I felt that my style has changed over the last few years and it was time to re-brand. Many professionals will spend months and months re-branding and figuring out what look/style they want to portray. For me, I didn’t want to complicate it. I found a logo that I kept going back to and knew it was the right fit. Done. I found a template that I knew I could customize to fit my vision. Done. It can be easy to get lost and overwhelmed through this process, so I knew that I just had to make decisions and follow my gut instincts. It was still quite a journey because I did it all myself. But I will say that it was incredibly satisfying to create something that I feel is all my own. It is me sharing my heart and my client’s stories with you. I hope you enjoy. 🙂
So besides re-branding, what have I been up to? Well… Being a stay at home mom is my ‘full time job’. I put that in quotations because while it is the hardest ‘job’ I have ever had, it is also not a ‘job’ at all in the sense that I feel beyond blessed that I get to be home with my daughter every day. She is 21 months old and is quite a character! She has me hysterically laughing every few minutes with what she does and says. She is talking in little sentences such as, “I so cute”, or “I go nite-nite”. If you don’t follow me on Instagram already, I have two accounts. I have a personal account where I document my day to day life and I post at least one photo a day. I also have a photography account where I only post my professional work… you know… what I shoot with my actual camera and not with my iPhone. 🙂
I am looking forward to sharing much more with you! Thank you ALL for your support and I look forward to documenting many more of your lives this year and beyond!
These photos were taken last week by my good friend Olivia Fisher of Laura Olivia Photography (editing done by myself). Bryn and I were being photographed by Olivia for the Mommy & Me Beepie event that Olivia and I will be photographing in April. I will be sharing photos I captured last week of Olivia and sweet girl in a separate post! I just wanted to share with you some of my favorite photos that she captured of me and my little peanut!!
Bryn can be very shy around other photographers that aren’t mommy! 🙂So I knew what would make her giggle…. This is my favorite photo of us of all time (so far). This makes my heart explode with JOY!I can’t help but smile whenever I am behind the camera. I simply can’t contain my happiness!
